It's Time to Go Low Flow!

How Going Low Flow Can Save You Water and Money.

Switching over to high-efficiency plumbing fixtures and getting rid of those out dated, water wasting fixtures is a great way to conserve water and save you some money at the same time.

These Low-Flow fixtures can be installed easily by an experienced plumber and there are many styles available on the market today.

What are your options?

There are 3 basic types of Low-Flow plumbing accessories.

Low-Flush Toilets

These modern Low-Flow toilets use only 1.6 gallons per flush or less compared to the older styles that used upwards of 3.5 gallons per flush or more.

Low-Flow Showerheads

Switching to a Low-Flow showerhead that only uses about half the amount of water as a standard showerhead can save a substantial amount of water as showering accounts for nearly 20 percent of average household water use.

Low-Flow Faucets

Older inefficient faucets can use more than 2.5 gallons per minute. The newer Low-Flow style faucets can cut that water use nearly in half.

Low-Flow High Quality.

Many of these Low-Flow products are designed and built so well that you won't even notice a difference in performance compared to the old style high pressure, high flow fixtures.

Are there less expensive alternatives?

Here are a couple of other possibilities for someone who wants to save water and money but is also cost-conscious.

A High-Efficiency Faucet Aerator or Flow Restrictor

These are easy to install and very inexpensive. They replace the old inefficient aerator on the faucet and can cut the amount of water that the faucet wastes by 40 percent.

A Toilet Dam

This device goes inside the tank on the back of the toilet and keeps some of the water in the tank from being flushed which can save gallons of water on every flush if you have an older style toilet.

Helping the Planet and Your Wallet.

Water is a precious resource and everyone should be doing all they can to waste as little as possible.

By switching out your old outdated plumbing fixtures with new Low-Flow toilets, showerheads, and faucets you can cut down on water usage by a substantial amount and save some money in the process.
